Antique Edwardian era lawn dress. The bodice silhouette is slightly pigeon breast with pleats across the front and back. Sleeves are 3/4 length with pleated cuffs. The skirt is gathered at the waist with pleated detailing at the hem. Made from a very fine cotton with woven vertical stripes. A narrow beige stripe is cross woven through the fabric and it feels like silk. Front snap closure at front bodice, waist, and into skirt.
Excellent vintage condition considering age and fragility. There is some light staining on the skirt. Tiny hole on the back bodice near waist. The beige silk stripe woven through the fabric is missing in some places.
Sleeve Length: 20”
